STUDIO CANCELLATION POLICY

CLASS CANCELLATIONS:

Due to changing weather conditions throughout the area, we DO NOT use local school cancellations as a source for basing studio class cancellation. When classes are cancelled:

1. We will notify local radio stations and WWNY 7 news and YNN / TIME WARNER CABLE channel 10.

2. We will leave a message on our answering machine at 788-2062.

3. We will post a messages on our website AT:

    www.JoannesNorthernLightsDanceCo.com

4. It will be POSTED ON WWNY TV 7: WHICH  LINKS TO NEWZJUNKY.

* We will only call you directly if classes are cancelled due to an illness or family emergency.

* We will make this judgment call by 12:30 on the day that may be in question. When should I question if classes are cancelled??? When local schools are cancelled for the whole day or are sent home early!  OR IF A STATE OF EMERGENCY IS POSTED AND or a NO UNNECESSARY TRAVEL BAND IS IN EFFECT FOR JEFFERSON COUNTY)  WE WILL ALWAYS ATTEMPT TO HOLD CLASSES WHENEVER POSSIBLE

* Always use your best judgment before venturing out in inclement weather, your safety is our first concern! When in doubt call first, this may save you an unnecessary trip.
