COVID 19 UPDATE! MARCH 15 2020
To Our Families and Students of JNLDC:
Everyone in our community is feeling the impact of the coronavirus and we want to share with you steps we are taking to prepare for coming days.
For the time being ALL classes will be held as scheduled.
*To limit unnecessary observers at this time, we are asking that only one observer per child attends class and to avoid bringing other siblings or friends to class.
* Each student and guest will be asked to wash their hands upon entering the building and again before leaving the studio.
* Each group class will be finishing 5 minutes early so we can take a few extra moments to clean counters, door handles, chairs and wipe down the bathroom and chairs and mats used between classes and use disinfected spray. A full cleaning will be done before each day as we do every day.
* Please only consider coming to class if your child is completely healthy, have no fever or signs of any illness of any kind.
*I also feel the children’s mental health is also important. Therefore, I am asking people to refrain from talking about the coronavirus during class time while at the studio. I realize adults as well as children may have anxiety and I would like to give students 45 minutes where they can free their mind and thoughts.
I’m happy to hear that children are the least effected with the coronavirus however this does not alleviate the stress and fear of our children.
These requests are effective immediately and may change at any given time due the changes around us that are out of our control. I understand classes may be smaller due to parents’ decisions not to attend and we certainly respect everyone’s decisions to do what they are comfortable with. Updates will be posted here as needed or as conditions change.
